Bob’s Burgers is on Canadian Netflix. I’ve been binge-watching the show. And craving burgers. Shocking.
You always want what you can’t have. Burgers seem like a major no-no on my sensitivity list. A burger without gluten, dairy, eggs, yeast, or soy seems impossible, right? Wrong!
You can have burgers. I even made them two ways.
First, I created plant-based burgers that were inspired by one of the best meals of my life. When my sister and I drove across Canada a few years ago, we stumbled upon a vegan café in Halifax called enVie. We stayed in Halifax for two days. We ate at enVie twice. On the first night, I ordered a burger, fries, and milkshake combo. It was the first “fast food” I’d had in as long as I could remember. It was delicious.
