Chimichurri is my new favorite

Chimichurri is delicious and is my new favorite accompaniment. It’s great with so many things and it’s healthy!! Spread it on French bread or any hard/semi soft/crusty bread. Eat it with baked, roasted, or grilled chicken legs, thighs, breasts, and wings. Pour it over steak! I would eat this with almost any meat and I’d even eat it on its own or as part of a vegetarian meal. This chimichurri I made has white wine vinegar, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, fresh cilantro, fresh parsley, dried oregano and basil. I chopped the fresh herbs with a knife and mixed everything together.

Recipe

Kosher or sea Salt

Coarse ground black pepper

Fresh parsley(1 bunch)

Fresh cilantro(1 bunch)

Dried oregano(1 TB)

Dried basil(2TB)

Minced garlic

Extra virgin olive oil

White wine vinegar

1) Chop finely the fresh cilantro and parsley and place in a bowl

2) Add in dried oregano(1TB)and basil(2TB)

3) Add 1/4 to 1/2 of olive oil depending on consistency you’re looking for

4) Add 1/4 cup of white wine vinegar

5) Add 1 TB minced garlic

6) Mix ingredients together and salt and pepper to preferred taste
