Kill the Cold

Hey y’all! So, I’m feeling a little cold or something trying to come on 🙅🏽‍♀️ Since becoming chronically ill, my immune system sucks! So, when I start to feel something coming on, I drink a mixture of hot water(6-8oz), ground turmeric(1tsp), ground ginger(1tsp), and raw honey(to your level of sweetness) in the morning and before bed until I feel better usually 3-4 days(sometimes I add a little cayenne to open up the nasal passages). Word to the wise: the turmeric will turn your poop orange. Plus I take some DayQuil and NyQuil if needed. I’ve found this combo helps to keep me going! Especially since the NyQuil gets me to sleep faster so my body can rest and heal. I don’t feel as bad as I normally would. Kill the cold, ain’t nobody got time for that!🙅🏽‍♀️
